An adventurous trip through one of Suriname's most beautiful nature reserves. Culminating in the navigation across the river Coesewijne. Moreover, this area is known as the habitat of the giant otters, manatees and various monkey species such as Baboenaap (Howler). A visit to the nearby native village Bigi Poika is planned.

DAY PROGRAM

In Bigi Poika you can experience the culture of this Indian tribe and a demonstration arrow and archery will be given. There is also the possibility to fish, night trips for spotting crocodiles, snakes and other nocturnal creatures. Participants will stay in a camp set up by them, with hammocks and mosquito nets and/or lodges in the area.
